Always seeking to provide high quality wines and offer the best of Portugal, the producer has introduce two new wines to Tyto alba range.

From the demarcated wine region of Tejo, Tyto alba Castelao and Tyto alba Moscatel Galego are the new and limited editions.

Made from the Castelao (100%) grape variety grown in sandy soil, this wine shows the best of the indigenous grape variety's heritage found at Companhia das Lezírias.

The wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts and maceration for 3 days Fermentation took place in stainless steel. The wine aged in small clay amphorae (140 liters each) for 12 months.

Influenced by the Tagus river, Tyto alba Castelão presents an elegant and discreet aroma, showing red fruits well combined with notes of earth and clay. Very elegant with silky tannins and a persistent finish.

The wine is perfect as an appetizer or accompanying fish dishes and white meats.

Limited Production: 3466 bottles

Made from the Moscatel Galego (100%) grape variety grown in sandy soil, this wine shows the best of the indigenous grape variety's heritage found at Companhia das Lezírias.

The wine fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in stainless steel, where it stayed on fine lees for 6 months.

Wine with crystalline appearance and a salmon colour, Tyto alba Moscatel Galego presents an elegant and complex aroma, balanced between floral and fruity notes. The palate is enveloping, characterized by a vibrant freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif or accompanying salads, sushi and fish dishes.
